This is a very beautiful part of Idaho even when it’s not fall, and the autumn season can make it even better!
Boise, known as “The City of Trees,” is home to many deciduous, non-native trees. Maples and ash trees add a unique variety of colors to the area. The brilliantly orange and deep red trees add to the landscape of Boise riverbanks and surrounding parks. Thick aspens along with yellow cottonwoods fill in the gaps, while native low-growing plants and shrubs provide a crimson hue.
