John has spent his life in public service, first with the San Jose Police Department for 25 years, then with the District Attorney’s Office.  There he has overseen the Major Fraud, Elder Fraud, and Real Estate Fraud Units. John has always had an interest in Real Estate, and after investigating the fraud side of Real Estate, he decided to pursue his new passion and continue his life of service, by helping families and individuals with their real estate dreams.  

Whether you’re selling your home, looking for a new home, a place to retire, or your very first home, John will be your advocate.  He will listen, and he will team with you to help you achieve your real estate goals.

John and his wife came to the Boise area in 2019.  In his spare time, John enjoys RVing and spending time with their 4 grown children and family.   He also enjoys hiking, golfing, bike riding and is an awesome drummer.  John is excited to be a part of the Abmont Realty Group and is looking forward to working with and helping new clients.

I wanted to take a minute to talk about my recent experience with Denise Abmont from Abmont Realty Group. We recently sold our home in Nampa, Idaho and Denise did great. She was on top of every thing. I heard from her quickly with every detail. She's extremely knowledgeable and professional. One thing I really appreciated is how she took the time to listen. She's not just a professional doing her job. She hears and gives feedback to what you're saying to her. When you're making a big sale such aa your house you want some one who you can talk through your questions with and actually walk away with the information you needed. She comes highly recommended. I've heard it said from social media managers that the perfect score on Google is a 4.8 stars. They say it's because it's "more realistic". They say there needs to be a negative review or two to make it believable. I'll say this though. There's a reason Denise has 50+ ratings and a perfect 5.0 rate. You won't go wrong with her.
